DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE MFI HANGAR COMPLEX:
From the Florida Turnpike:
Take Exit 152, which is the Ft. Pierce/SR 70 exit. After the toll booth
proceed straight ahead through the traffic signal. You will be on Kings
Highway. Stay on this road for approximately 5 miles, until you come to
the intersection of St. Lucie Blvd. There is a blinking yellow light at
this intersection. Take a right on to St. Lucie Blvd. Stay on this
road for exactly 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Hammond Road. If you get to
the main entrance of the airport you have gone too far. Proceed down
Hammond Road 1/2 mile and take your second right onto Airmans Drive. MFI's facility will be the first hangar on the
left.
From I-95:
From the South: Take exit 131B which is Orange Avenue West. (Do not
take the Orange Avenue East exit, which is exit 131A.) After traveling
west on Orange Ave. for about 500 feet, turn right at the first light, which is
Kings Highway. Stay on Kings Hwy. for about 2.5 miles until you come to
the intersection of St. Lucie Blvd. There is a blinking yellow light at
this intersection. Take a right on to St. Lucie Blvd. Stay on St. Lucie
Blvd. for exactly 1.5 miles and then turn left onto Hammond Road. If you
get to the main entrance of the airport you have gone too far. Proceed
down Hammond Road 1/2 mile and take your second right onto Airmans Drive.
MFI's facility will be the first hangar on the left.
From the North: Take exit 138 which is Indrio Road and turn left heading
east for about 3 miles. Turn right at the light for Kings Highway and head
south for 2.5 miles until you come to the blinking yellow light at St. Lucie
Blvd. Take a left at St. Lucie Blvd. and travel exactly 1.5 miles and then
turn left onto Hammond Road. If you get to the main entrance of the
airport you have gone too far. Proceed down Hammond Road 1/2 mile and take
your second right onto Airmans Drive. MFI's facility will be the first
hangar on the left.
From Palm Beach International Airport:
Proceed east to I-95 and head north for 62 miles. Follow the directions above
for I-95 from the South.
To the Sleep Inn:
The Sleep Inn is located between I-95 and the Turnpike on SR 70. From the
Turnpike take exit 152. After paying the toll take a right onto SR70.
Travel .4 miles and turn left at the 1st light which is Crossroads Parkway.
The Sleep Inn is a few hundred feet down on the left. From I-95 take exit
129. Travel west briefly and take your first right at Crossroads Parkway.
The Sleep Inn is a few hundred feet down on the right. To get to the MFI
hangar from the Sleep Inn, take Crossroads Parkway back to SR 70 and turn right.
Take a right at the first light on Kings Highway and then follow the
instructions listed above from the Turnpike.
To US Customs to pick up arriving MFI passengers:**
Follow the above directions to the MFI hangar. Instead of taking a left
onto Hammond Road, continue on St. Lucie Blvd. for another few hundred yards.
Take a left into the main entrance of the airport, which is Curtis King Blvd.
Go straight ahead and this road will end in 1/4 mile at the US Customs parking
lot.
**NOTE: Please contact the MFI office for arrival times and locations. In
some cases flights will clear into the US in West Palm Beach before continuing
on to Ft. Pierce. In this case passengers should be picked up
at the MFI hangar instead of Ft. Pierce Customs.
