On Thursday, April 23, 2009, Rev. Don Beldin went home to be with
the Lord whom he had served for all of his adult life. In 1964, Don and his
wife Jo founded Missionary Flights International. From the humble
beginning of one man and one airplane, the Lord has expanded the ministry of MFI
to provide air support to 700 missionary families that serve in Haiti and the
Dominican Republic. Don's wife Jo passed away in 2008. Don and Jo
have two daughters, along with grandchildren and great grandchildren.Â
Rev. Don Beldin's funeral will be held on Monday April 27th, 2009, at the
Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN.
Rather than flowers, the family has requested that donations be given to Missionary Flights International in memory
