Cequer Medical Fund

Cequer (pronounced sink-air) is a good friend and part-time employee of Missionary Flights. He grew up in an orphanage that has been a partner mission for many years. Meaning, a lot of MFI staff have known him since he was a boy. Cequer meets all the MFI flights in Cap-Haitien and helps unload the airplane and distribute cargo to the missionaries there. He also helps MFI distribute the Christmas bags that are sent down via shipping container.

On Saturday night, April 14, Cequer was hit by a bus on the side of the road. He is currently in critical condition in the hospital in Milot, Haiti (just south of Cap-Haitien). He has some some severe swelling on his brain and a badly damaged leg (anticipated amputation). He is unconscious and the prognosis is not good.

Medical care in Haiti is not what we are accustomed to compared with the United States. The hope is he can be transported to a hospital in the Dominican Republic and get the needed brain scans and other medical care.

The need now is money. He can not be transported until the money is available to pay the ambulances. If you are able to give just a little to give this good friend of MFI a chance, please click the button above. All money will go directly to his care. Thank you.
