Missionary Flights recently had a guest speaker for our Monday morning devotions. Dwayne King, an expert aviator, flight instructor, and missionary pilot, was visiting from his base of operation in Alaska where he runs the ministry Kingdom Air Corps (KAC).
The ministry of KAC manifests in many different ways. Much of the actual mission work takes place at their summer Bible camp, where they spend time teaching and discipling children and youth from the northern villages of Alaska. Kingdom Air Corps also works in far-east Russia using mission aviation to reach remote areas to spread the gospel.
While he was here at Missionary Flights International, Dwayne shared some of the challenges and goals that their ministry had, including building a bigger hangar to host the DC-3 he purchased from MFI as well as acquiring 12 aircraft and pilots needed to serve in Russia. He also thanked Missionary Flights for not only doing what we do as an important “wing” of God, but personally as well. He was so grateful that Missionary Flights has been supporting him through prayer over the last 2 years.
