If you have ever wondered what it was like to walk/run on a runway, this is your chance. Missionary Flights is hosting a 5k and 1 mile race on March 9, 2019 at 6:30 a.m. Families are in for an extra treat this year because we will hold special races for children 4 - 9 years old. Those kids that are signed up for a race will receive an official Race the Runway t-shirt and completion certificate (presented by an MFI pilot!).
MFI Family Day
A once a year event where we open our hangar up to the public. Lunch is free. The bounce house is free. Arts and crafts are free. Hangar tours are free. And there are plane rides - unfortunately, not free - but a cheap price. For a recommended contribution of $20/person or $40/family, you can see a bit of the Treasure Coast from the windows of a MFI turbine DC-3.
Registration opens on December 1, 2018.
Become a Fundraiser!
You can begin fundraising either as an individual or as a team by clicking below. Let's see how much money we can raise to help feed children in Haiti.
OUR ONLINE RSVP IS NOW CLOSED, BUT IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND THE BANQUET, PLEASE CHECK AVAILABILITY BY GIVING US A CALL*.
*Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30 p.m. If you call outside of this time, please leave your name, phone number, and a brief message. We will respond as soon as possible.
MFI Hangar Banquet
Experience a delicious, catered meal inside of the MFI airplane hangar. Seated next to one of our DC-3s, you will hear some of the great stories that have occurred throughout the year and meet and greet MFI Pilots and Staff. Updated progress will be shared concerning the Hospitality Park just down the road. Finally, the evening would not be complete if we did not also recognize the work done by our volunteers and present the George Knoop Volunteer of the Year Award.
First Baptist Pompano Beach, we are excited to join you on November 4! After the second service ends, head to the gym for a Missions Fair. Don’t miss an opportunity to stop by the Missionary Flights booth and learn how we are standing in the gap for missionaries in the Caribbean Basin. Oh, and we’re heard FBC say that there is supposed to be food!?!
We'll See You at the Stuart Air Show!
Missionary Flights is excited to be a part of this year's Stuart Air Show. We always love the thrill of aviation enthusiasts and local families coming out to be "wowed" by active and static aerial displays.
Make sure to stop by the MFI booth to take a free tour of our Douglas DC3 aircraft, learn the aircrafts history, how MFI is using the DC3 to make a difference in the Caribbean, and grab some MFI swag!
The Stuart Air Show does charge a fee for general admission. Check out the links below for more information or to purchase airshow tickets online.
