Jeff and Anny Fouche

But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness. - James 3:17-18 NLT -

Jeff and Anny Fouche have walked in service to the Lord since 2020 when they joined another ministry, Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF).  Jeff will be a Pilot in the DC-3, standing in the gap and supporting front-line ministries in the Caribbean.  Anny will continue her God-given role as a stay-at-home mother of two - daughter Kyndall and son Corbin - and hopes her training and skill in art and teaching will facilitate connection within whatever community this family finds itself settling into.
Jeff was born in Redding California, but moved to North Idaho with his parents at age 1.  He came to Christ through the witness of his parents, who also exposed him to mission service through various work trips through their church.  He graduated high school and college, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and settling into a career in that field.  However, God had a course change in mind:

“I’ve always been passionate about airplanes, even from an early age,” shares Jeff.  “It wasn’t until I watched an MAF video in church [in 2011] that I felt called to service - it was like a gong in my soul.”  He pursued additional training, worked nights and weekends, added experience, and even quit his day job and started and operated a flight school in Northern Idaho as part of his journey to MAF.

Anny was born and raised in Grand Coulee, Washington.  She grew up in the church, surrounded by extended family that was involved in missionary and church service, including grandparents that were lifetime missionaries.  She attended Seattle Pacific University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Art in 2001.  Not too long afterward, she joined a work trip through her uncle’s church to Guatemala that just happened to include Jeff’s parents.  Although Anny and Jeff had dated briefly when they were in high school, their romance began anew shortly after her trip and they were married in 2005.
Upon joining MAF, the Fouche’s were assigned to the MAF program in Haiti - which unfortunately evacuated and shut down in 2023.  They first moved to Nampa to assist with planning and restarting the MAF operation, which brought them to Pignon, Haiti, where they lived for 7 months.  They learned of MFI during this time and came to appreciate the lifeline that MFI represented to the small airstrip near their home.  Unfortunately, in March of 2025 the criminal gangs encroached further, cutting short their ministry there as they evacuated back to the US.
After much prayer and seeking the Lord’s will on their lives, the Fouche’s chose to be seconded to MFI in June of 2025.  As the Lord wills, they are appreciating the stability and a chance to lend Jeff’s skills and experience to MFI.
It is certainly through His provision and guidance that the Fouche’s are positioned to serve with MFI, an opportunity for which they feel blessed and fortunate.
