What I Do

DISASTERS

When a disaster strikes, there are many moving parts. I provide extra logistical support to expedite the immediate relief required to save lives.

FACILITIES

Maintaining our two hangars and all of the equipment is vital to the efficient service we provide to our missionaries. This keeps our facility safe for volunteers and our staff.

ASSIST

My responsibilities include assisting MFI Executives in the day to day operation of our organization. My Haitian cultural and linguistic background is an asset.

Biography

Roger & Judy joined Missionary Flights in 2003. Initially, Judy worked in the main office and Roger worked on the aircraft as an A&P mechanic. After God’s provision of our hangar in 2006 in Ft. Pierce, FL., Judy continued to work in flight reservations and Roger took the positions of volunteer coordinator, facilities manager, and assistant chief of maintenance.

When the earthquake hit Haiti on Jan 12, 2010, Roger took charge of the 2000 volunteers that came to help sort and ship 2 million lbs. of relief supplies. MFI then asked Roger to take work teams to Haiti to help rebuild destroyed homes. In two years, and many work teams, fifty-four new homes were built. While he was going back and forth to Haiti with the teams, Roger saw the need to have MFI “boots on the ground” to help establish a professional presence at the national airport.

Roger & Judy returned from Haiti in 2016. He continued to manage the Port-au-Prince mailroom, work with our Haitian broker, and took the part-time position of facilities manager. However, he also worked a full-time job as a missions/administration pastor at a local church.

In 2020, Roger again joined the Missionary Flights staff as the Assistant to the Executive Leadership. In 2023, he began serving the role of Vice President of Administration.
