September 2021:
Missionary Flights made 18 flights for disaster relief; flying over 100,000 pounds of supplies, 125 relief workers, and 9 people needing medical attention. The financial expense for the relief effort exceeded $175,000, but because of the faithful donations of supporters, all relief flights through September were covered.
Natural disasters occur in different forms whether it is a hurricane, earthquake, or disease such as Cholera. MFI is "Standing in the Gap" ready to fly first responders and supplies for immediate relief. We are able to deliver water, tarps, generators, and meals ready to eat during the initial recovery effort.
By partnering with organizations like Samaritan's Purse and other humanitarian groups, we are able to act immediately to natural disasters in the Caribbean and Central America.
MFI also wants to be ready to help in case of a medical emergency or other general relief needs. MFI maintains a relief fund in order to be ready to pay for all the flights that will be needed. If you would like to help with MFI's disaster/emergency/relief fund, please click on the button above.
