Missionary Flights recognized individuals who were living examples of how hope is carried, how lives are changed, and how MFI’s mission, expanding God’s Kingdom, was able to move forward.
Their journey began with a mission trip to Haiti in 2002, where God stirred their hearts through sponsoring two children at an orphanage. Just two years later, He called them back to Haitiwhere they founded Haiti Mercy Mission and committed their lives to serving the people of Haiti.
Their journey began with a mission trip to Haiti in 2002, where God stirred their hearts through sponsoring two children at an orphanage. Just two years later, He called them back to Haiti, where they founded Haiti Mercy Mission and committed their lives to serving the people of Haiti.
What started as a step of faith grew into a thriving ministry. By the time they returned to the United States in 2012, the ministry had expanded to include an orphanage that is now Haitian-led, five churches, four schools, and a medical clinic that continues to impact countless lives.
Their heart for serving did not end there. Since 2013, they have faithfully volunteered with Missionary Flights in a variety of roles. In 2015, Jeannette launched a sewing ministry from their home, creating handmade clothing for children in Haiti. Today, that ministry has produced more than 16,000 outfits, each one sewn with love and given as a tangible reminder that a child is seen, valued, and cared for.
Bud also serves faithfully on MFI’s Board of Directors and as Purchasing Agent, while continuing his leadership role as President of Haiti Mercy Mission. Together, their lives stand as a testimony of enduring faith, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel.
